
Well, I hope you enjoyed our 30-day view through McDermott’s windows and into our new home. We hope to see you walking through our front door sometime soon.
A personal highlight for me was meeting artist Spencer Finch, who created the brilliant work, Summer Afternoon, Washington, DC (Lincoln & Whitman 1863) hanging behind me. On the far left is Jean Efron, our art consultant, who patiently guided me and the art committee through the selection process. Her patience is only exceeded by her good sense of humor.
The party was barely underway when many guests headed to the roof terrace to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Mother Nature smiled on us that night.
The 21 foot free-standing credenza was covered in artisan cheeses and charcuterie that were enjoyed by all.
The team from Ridgewells puts the finishing touches in the reconfigured Capitol Conference Room moments before the grand opening celebration commences.
